The Kurve Chair

Kurve is designed to fit in a flat pack for ease of shipping and transportation.  Considering I designed and produced the chair in Denmark, I knew it had to be able to make it back home. Within just a few minutes and the help of an allen wrench, this chair can be disassembled into seven bamboo plywood pieces, the canvas seat, and six screws.  As a design constraint, this is the first time packaging was considered in the forefront of the design process.  I enjoyed the challenge that this presented and it pushed me to create what I consider my strongest work.
